# Om Shanti Om Yoga Ashram

> Om Shanti Om Yoga Ashram is one of Rishikesh, India's oldest yoga schools (established 1999), offering Yoga Alliance USA-certified Yoga Teacher Training courses (50, 100, 200, 300 & 500 hour), yoga retreats, and drop-in classes on the banks of the Ganges in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Founded by Swami Yogananda Maharaj Ji and currently directed by Yogi Dinesh Ji (E-RYT 500), the ashram is located in Tapovan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, and has trained over 25,000 students from 100+ countries. Courses are certified under Yoga Alliance USA (RYS 200, 300, 500) and combine asana, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology, alongside ashram stay, satvik vegetarian food, and cultural excursions.
